Financial Aid programs aim to help ease the financial burden of medical education both through direct financial aid from university as well as assistance in finding scholarships, grants, and loans to help cover tuition and other educational expenses.
Types of financial aid programs available for medical students in the University are:
- Need-Based Grants are financial support to students who demonstrate financial need. Need-Based Grant available each term equal to $500 USD.
Total amount of need-based grants is reflected in annual budget of the university. Rules and procedures for awarding grants are published annually in the University Scholarship and Financial Aid Program.
- Work-Study Programs are opportunities for students to work in service positions connected to their medical course of study to earn money for educational expenses. Program availability, details and eligibility criteria are published every term.
