Nigerian applicants have the option to enroll in medical studies at New Anglia University through either a 5-year Premedical and MD program for undergraduate entry students or a 4-year MD program for graduate entry students. Clinical rotations are conducted exclusively in U.S. hospitals. This program meets the requirements of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), allowing students to sit for the MDCN Assessment Examination and practice medicine in Nigeria. More specifically:

- Clinical Rotations in U.S. Hospitals offer diverse experience across specialties and settings and ample practical experience and adequate interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ward Rounds: Bedside teaching led by attending physicians to review patient progress.
- Grand Rounds: Presentations on complex cases and medical advancements for interdisciplinary learning.
- Morning Report: Daily meetings for reviewing overnight events and new admissions.
- Work Rounds: Collaborative sessions for patient care tasks and teamwork development.
- Attending Rounds in Clinic: Observation of patient consultations with attending physicians for clinical guidance.
- Dedicated teaching: Didactic lectures, case discussions, and skills workshops.
- Self-directed learning: Access to resources like libraries and online databases under staff supervision.
- Pre-MDCN Assessment Exam Integrated achievement tests offered by the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) covering material typically learned during basic science education and core clinical clerkships. Students need to sit for the:

Eligibility
- Nigerian Nationality or Residency
- Undergraduate Entry: GCE/SSCE/NECO or its equivalent (with five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
- Graduate Entry: BSc degree or 90 credit hours of undergraduate studies
